How To Prepare For The Holiday Season As A Blogger

The festive season is in full swing, with some of us getting snow! We've had about a foot in good old Coventry and it hasn't stopped, remember to always drive slowly in the snow!!!!
So today I wanted to share with you my top tips on how to prepare for the holiday season as a blogger.

Plan ahead and take your photos at the weekend, we all know the dark evening struggle for bloggers

Try to make your posts festive, even if that is just adding the word 'Christmas' in here and there.

Make the most of the snow if you have any! Bloggers posts in the snow is a standard and makes your blog even more fun.

If you struggle to write your posts try doing a little every evening, and write two posts a week - that way you'll always be prepared!

Struggling with ideas? Pinterest is the source of all fabulously festive ideas!!

Add reminders to your calendar for a certain time everyday that you can dedicate to a kick ass Instagram.

How to Full Proof your Dinner Party

How to Full Proof your Dinner Party

Dinner party season is upon us and we're getting just a tiny bit excited for Christmas, so today I wanted to run through all the best ways to full proof your dinner party. The best ways to create minimal washing up, and how to get the ultimate cosy feels.

Plastic plates and cutlery will be your best friend when it comes to an easy clean up!

Want to be warm yet festive but cater to all? Get 2 slow cookers and fill one with Mulled wine and the other with Hot Chocolate! You can even do a little station for the kids to pimp their chocolates

Soft furnishings like bean bags, blankets and cushion corners are an easy comfy yet fun way to get everyone comfy

Christmas films on in the background are a super easy way to continue the festive theme without your Aunt Jane blasting out Jingle Bells in full swing

Jars filled with battery operated fairy lights are an easy and super safe way to make your home cosy!

Grab and go foods are a party must, no one wants a full sit down meal unless your being formal! So cheese's are always a good idea

Use unexpected items in your décor. Think a vase filled with cranberries or ball ornaments!

Don't rely on red and green to show off, try mixing metals into your decor for a more luxe look!

Arbonne Skincare | Sample Review *

Arbonne Skincare | Sample Review *

I was recently gifted the Arbonne RE9 Advanced Skincare sample line and not knowing anything about the products or the brand I delved straight in! This little pack is claimed to be the best at home facial, so keep reading to find out my thoughts ...

Arbonne creates products that are pure botanically based ingredients in scientifically tested products, helping to encourage pure but balanced skin. They combine the best of nature with leading techniques to create the best ever-evolving products.
In this sample pack you get 5 miniatures to create your at home facial step by step, now each product is numbered so there's no chance of any mix ups!

Staring off with the facial cleanser to clean the skin of any impurities, following on with the toner to give the skin a boost and then onto the serum. This is the start up of creating your perfect base and will help to rejuvenate your skin alongside the other products!
Next up, is the day and night cream to help to boost your skin, followed by the eye cream to help prevent premature wrinkles.
Following all the steps in the pack, I can honestly say it's literally like having an at home facial! My skin felt like new after, completely new, it felt retextured and smooth but rehydrated at the same time!

Celebrating His 26th Birthday | Ling Safari Park

Celebrating His 26th Birthday | Ling Safari Park

We recently celebrated my finances 26th birthday, time flies when your having fun! So, to give him the ultimate 26th birthday surprise I arranged a day trip to West Midlands Safari Park and an overnight stay with Ling Safari Park!

Coordinating with Annie she hooked me up with tickets to West Midlands Safari Park and a night in the beautiful Bell Tent! The Bell Tent sleeps 2 people in a queen bed and is set up as a romantic retreat for the ultimate luxury experience. It has a retro camping feel with the luxury of a wood burning stove to keep you toasty, cosy throws and beanbags, private outdoor area with fire pit and exclusive private shower and toilet area!

With a bucks fizz breakfast hamper upon arrival including fresh goodies from the bakery this is the ultimate luxury when it comes to romantic breaks. Ling Safari Park has been running for the past 4 years and is the perfect country escape for anyone and everyone needing that detox, set in 5 acres of farm land with no Wi-Fi or electric we came away feeling refreshed and detoxed from all the negativity in the world. We came away feeling closer.

So, as you can see the tent has no running electric but has fairy lights run by battery and a running shower outside alongside the compost toilet, the complete organic feel. As the site is literally directly opposite the Safari Park we spent the day at West Midlands Safari Park amazed by the animals and being able to get so close to them! Even if the baby rhino looked like they wanted to charge the car. After a full day we retired in the evening to our tent and took full advantage of the sky that surrounded us and the colours it cast off.
We lit our fire pit and cracked open our bubbly to simply sit and enjoy the *very rare* complete silence that surrounded us and our minds.

If your looking for the ultimate couples retreat, to bring you closer, detox your mind and make you feel revived and refreshed then I think I may have found your new favourite place....

Health & Fitness | What I've Learnt About Me

Health & Fitness | What I've Learnt About Me

Today I want to show you how different our bodies are, and what works for you might not work for me! I think I can safely say I've tried every different diet, workout, regime, cleanse and detox there is to try and found certain aspects from each work but in my own way.

High carb / High fat diets make me fat, a diet that's high in protein and veggies works wonders for me and I enjoy it!

Incorporating more whole and vegan foods into my diet has really helped me to control my weight and get to my happy size.

No matter how much I weigh, it doesn't matter to me. My 'happy' size is when I look at my body and I think 'yeah you know what, I look good'

Allowing treats now and then will not make you 'the size of a house', it makes you human and makes your body not actually crave them all the time.

LISS Cardio will always work best for me!! And at home work outs in the garage, are killer.

Trying to 'diet' and restrict your diet will only make you miserable and generally make you put on more weight!!

Stretching is the key to everything, fitness/flexibility/posture, everything!!!!

Wanting to get that dream body for life not just for summer will make it so much easier.

And, not listening to what everyone else thinks about your body will allow you to love it more.

Pumpkin Picking | My Top Tips and Tricks

Pumpkin Picking | My Top Tips and Tricks

On Sunday I went on my first ever pumpkin picking adventure and it was amazing! So today I wanted to share with you my top tips and tricks on how to find the perfect pumpkin for your autumnal lifestyle!

NUMBER ONE Always get a wheel barrow! You'd be surprised how flipping heavy some pumpkins are.

As your going round don't pick the first one you see, pick the best ones and then you can decide as you go which one's look the best.

Try to go on a good day! If it's raining then your heart won't be in it, and pumpkins have feelings too so they don't want to be flung around the place.

Wear warm clothing! You'd be surprised how chilly it gets and how long you can spend just walking and choosing.

Place the pumpkin on a flat surface to see if it leans or is level, discard if it leans, because your candle will tip over.

A second opinion is always a valued opinion, having at least two of you to choose your pumpkin will let you both see different things in the pumpkin.

Press your thumbs into the bottom of the pumpkin to check for freshness. If it pushes in, it is not fresh!

What's your top pumpkin picking tip?
