Cailyn O! Wow Double Brush

The strangest brush I ever did see ... This is the Cailyn O! Wow Double Brush and its the strangest brush I've ever used but it is the best for contour that is sharp as a knife!

The brush comes with a clip on cap to protect the soft but dense bristles making it perfect for traveling or chucking in your bag and going. The brush comes with two sides, a domed side to blend out smaller areas like the nose and eyes, and a flat brush side for larger areas of the face.

The brush comes on a medium length ergonomically designed handle, it gives you enough grip to hold the brush but enough space to get into the areas of your face without disturbing any of your other makeup! I've found that some of the other brushes i've used similar to this the handle can sometimes feel cheap and flimsy, almost as though too much pressure and it'll snap! But investing that little bit more in this brush and it feels so soft and blends creams and powders flawlessly!

The New 7 | The Skincare Edit

I've had whirlwind of events the past week or so and my blogging hasn't taken centre stage i'm afraid but today I wanted to go through with you the seven new favourite products in my life that i"m loving for on the skincare front!

The ALDI Lacura Cuvee Royal serum is cheap as chips and does wonders for brightening the complexion!! Followed up by the Elemis Superfood Facial Oil in the morning and in the evening the most wonderful little facial oil from Birchbox which has unfortunate been discontinued! This combination has been working on my dehydrated temperamental skin!

Now, moisturisers are my best friend because I have a very hard time getting all the moisture into my skin and trying to keep the wrinkles at bay. So the Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream range are fabulous for day and night but the MURAD Hydro-Dynamic is a whole new game!! This bad boy stretches so far on the tiniest bit and really pushes it's self deep into your skin.

I'm new to finding MURAD but there eye cream has changed the game!!! You literally need the tiniest smidge of this to do your whole eye area, and then some. This helps to combat the fine lines, wrinkles, and gives your eye area a full and radiant appearance.

Learning To Be Alone

Learning To Be Alone

One thing I've learnt since moving out last year was that you learn to value and appreciate your alone time and that's not saying it's an easy thing to do, or you'll love being alone straight away because it does take time and a lot of getting used too but in the long run it's so worth it. Today I wanted to talk to you about how to be alone and how to get used to the idea of being alone

At first it's scary, and that's understandable but after a while it doesn't seem so scary.

You have to learn to love your own company, and until you move out and are on your own a lot then you don't realise your own company.

You learn to appreciate the quiet, when I've finished a full week at work and have been running around like a mad woman there is nothing i love more than a Friday or Saturday night in on my own having an absolute pamper.

Music will become your best friend, it will help ease the complete silence that sometimes frightens the life out of you when something falls and makes a bang but also comforts you when you need it.

Pamper nights will become even more luxurious and you'll take time in pampering yourself and caring for yourself.

You'll slowly and without realising learn to value company and your alone time!! Sometimes it's nice to have the place to yourself

Decorating when Renting | Adulting 101

Decorating when Renting | Adulting 101

Renting, it's all fun and games until you have to adult and make decisions on which gas provider your going with, trying to use minimum water and electric to keep the bills down but there is one huge advantage to renting .... 90% of places will already be painted white! So it doesn't matter what your interior style is like you can just move in and accessorise the place up. Today I wanted to talk to you and show you how to style up a place with minimum effort using your bigger pieces to your advantage

Light colours will always make a place look bigger, so even if you prefer darker colours like purple for example try adding lighter whites or greys in with it to add contrast.

If you prefer to stick to one colour tone, try to add in more textures to keep it interesting and to make it not look so blended together.

DIY / Couponing pages will become your best friend, for those higher end pieces or looks without the higher end price tag!!

If you struggle with home decor, like me, or just can't seem to piece together a room how you envisaged it to look hit up Pintrest when your shopping and refer to your board for inspiration!

Utilizing Instagram for some major home crushing will also help you to see things from stores you might not necessarily shop at or think of when it comes to home decor!

And those stick on wall hangers will be your bestest friend for your photos/frames.

Talk to your Landlord / Landlady too, they might be flexible when it comes to decorating. For example, they might be happy for you to make that wall a feature wall as long as you put it back to it's original state when you leave.

Think cosy too, even though your renting and you make the place your own it can still feel a little cold, try to add in smaller cosy pieces to give the place a more homily feel.

What are your top tips for decorating whilst renting?
